What is Laser Acupuncture?
Laser acupuncture has been used clinically since the 1970s. It is defined as the optical stimulation of traditional acupuncture points by means of non-thermal laser radiation.
This non-invasive method of laser acupuncture can be used for children, patients with needle phobia, impaired immune function, and coagulation disorders.
How does it work?
Laser needles are applied to the skin for acupuncture but not pierced. Non-invasive, painless laser needle stimulation can induce specific and reproducible changes peripherally.
